The Breteuil family castle is situated in the Valley of Chevreuse in 45 km away from Paris. The castle was built for the count Breteuil, who was the finance minister in the period of Louis XIV and till the present days it belongs to same family.
Nowadays this castle is open for tourists. You and your kids will find many surprises that the family Breuteil prepared for the guests. In the small houses of garden you can meet Charles Perrault’s characters: Sleeping Beauty, Bluebeard, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and, of course, Puss in Boots. At the same time adults can visit the castle and to learn the history of Breuteil family, which members are presented in waxworks.
