Walking excursion of 2 hours starts from Metro Blanche. Line 2.

INFORMATION:

You take a start from Place “BLANCHE” at the bottom of the most famous cabaret “Moulin Rouge”. Our guide will lead you along the narrow streets of the Montmartre Quarter, one of the beautiful places in Paris, up to the hill of 130 m above the sea. From the top you will see a stunning view of Paris. Walking around you will enjoy the atmosphere of this ancient Parisian suburb which Montmartre remained till the mid of 19^th century. Unfortunately, this place haven’t kept all mills and grapes yards being flourished here before the same 19^th century, but anyway your eye will catch the spirit of the past. Since the 19th century the Pleiads of outstanding artists were living and creating here. Since 1875 Basilique Sacre Coeur has become a pilgrim place for all tourists of Paris and especially amateurs of Montmartre. Walking along the streets you will find a lot of boutiques where the local painters are selling their works, that could be nice souvenirs for you brining back from Paris.
